One of the most popular add on for firefox is Adblock Plus. It allow users to block ads and banners. IE failed to develop a counterpart for this wonderful feature before. Fortunately enough, here is another way for IE8 to meet the same demand
- Download a filter rule first and extract it.
- Launch your IE and then click Tools->Manage Add-ons.
- In InPrivate Filtering tab, click Import button.
- find the rule you just extracted and import it.
- Then your rule is successfully imported, and then the ads and banners will be cannot find any access to your computer.
