The Java platform is used on many websites to run a variety of applets. It is used for things like games, chat rooms and many other interactive applications. If Java is installed on your machine, but does not work, it may not be enabled. It can be enabled through the Option menu of Internet Explorer.
Steps to Follow
1.Click on "Tools" in the menu bar of Internet Explorer to expand the tools menu, then click on "Internet Options."
2.Click on "Advanced" to switch to the advanced options tab.
3.Scroll down until you see "Java (Sun)," and check the box for "enable JRE" as shown in the picture.
4.Click "OK" to save this change, and close the options menu.
5.Restart your browser for the changes to take effect
